Troy Edwards
Background: Whadjuk Noongar, English
Timeline /Experience: Having grown up in Perth in the foothills of the Darling Range, I was part of the first class to go from year 1 to graduation at Huntingdale Primary School and later attended Gosnells Senior High School. Having worked in many labouring and construction jobs in my earlier working career at 30 years old I decided to go to Curtin University and become a Registered Nurse. I worked at Fremantle Hospital for almost 4 years before coming to the Kimberley to work at BRAMS in 2008. I now work as a Public Health Nurse at KPHU.
Passions: I have a passion for men’s health, in particular Aboriginal men’s health and social justice and equity. I also enjoy fishing, hunting, mechanics, boating and camping in the Kimberley.

John Bin Salleh
Background: Darnley Island Torres Strait Islander, born Broome mother TSI, father Malay. Great Great Grandmother born Darnley Island, Great Great Grandfather English.
Timeline /Experience: Primary school Broome, Secondary St Patrick’s College Geraldton.
Work experience: Meat worker, Hotel Manager, Aboriginal Liaison Officer at Broome Hospital, Prisoner Support Officer at Broome Prison, Programs Co facilitator at Derby Prison. Board member / Director of MOSAC since its early days.
Passions: Sports, Fishing, Camping and Boating.
