Dijun Way is Family Outreach Services’ newest program designed to empower youth aged 12 – 18 for positive change. Commencing earlier this year, the program aims to educate youth in positive and healthy relationships, understanding the significance of consent, mastering emotional dynamics, promoting positive masculinity & becoming community role models.
The Dijun Way motto ‘Together, “We Can Stop It At The Start”!’ and #YOUNGNDEADLY are incorporated into the logo which was designed by our Youth Services Team Leader Kevin McKenzie.
- The circle represents unity.
- Two halves in the background represent both sides of the brain; changing the way youth think about family domestic violence, as well as two sides of a relationship.
- Green hands represent youth, growth, and fertility.
- Purple is the colour of FDV awareness.
- Six circles represent the six modules of the program: Dating, Relationships, Masculinity, Sex & Consent, Emotions and Role Modelling.
