Together We Ride recently ventured up the Dampier Peninsula for an exciting 2-night youth engagement camp over the holiday break at the stunning Cygnet Bay. Over three action-packed days, nine boys accompanied by four mentors immersed themselves in a variety of enjoyable and interactive activities as part of the holiday program. The camp offered cultural experiences such as fishing, island hopping and exploring, along with spearing and reefing. The boys also participated in fun program activities designed to engage and challenge them.
In addition to the outdoor adventures, the camp included Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) group discussions. These sessions provided a valuable opportunity for the boys to connect on a deeper level, share their thoughts, and support each other. This camp was a perfect blend of adventure and personal growth, allowing the participants to enjoy activities over the break while strengthening relationships and developing important life skills.
